This article was written after the WA Government announced cuts tot he education system- including closing the WA School Of The Air, closing multiple camp schools, closing two residential collages, cutting funding to gifted and talented programs and poaching agricultural school money. This article generated a lot of talk within the WA community of people pushing back against the announced cuts and was shared many times on both on Facebook and other media platforms. Two days after this letter it was announced that some of the cuts would be reversed.

This article was written in July 2017 after it was revealed that in the US country of Arkansas a women was able to have her abortion blocked by the father of the child- no matter if the father hadn't been present since the conception, no matter if the pregnancy was the result of a crime. I was so disappointed in the fact that a man was able to control a women in this way that the article was written. This article was very informative to my immediate audience as many of them are from Australia and were not familiar with US laws. This was shared many times on social media.
