Lubetech Oil Analysis Laboratory is a Brisbane based, independent testing laboratory for used lubricating oil. Lubetech's current LIMS (laboratory information management system) and web portal were designed, developed and implemented by Clevr.
Lubetech's lab operations are now virtually paperless - instrument data is transferred to the database via automated software and all analysis and data is retained digitally.
The project required development of:
- Microsoft SQL database
- Windows desktop-based internal application
- ASP.NET web application
- Background services
Lubetech have been able to increase their sample volume significantly without investing in more full-time staff. Over 50% of samples submitted by customers are entered online via the web application, vastly reducing data entry by laboratory staff. Reports are now presented professionally. New tests can be added without programming.
