A NRL tipping competition mobile application with a difference! In this app, the users can create their own private comps and invite their friends. From the comp the users only need to pick one team per round - but each match has odds provided by the administrators. These odds then multiply week to week if the user selects the winning team of that match. This model encourages users to select outsider teams in order to get the best return for their pick and can see scores by the end of the season in the millions!
The app itself is built on the Ionic2 framework with Angular2/typescript and a NodeJs back-end and a MongoDB database. The app also includes full user registration and authentication, Google Analytics integration, a chat room per private comp using the Socket.io library, push notifications and weekly reporting using C3 charting. The app is available for both iOS and Android.
