In 2022, I was honoured to be shortlisted for the prestigious Deep Creek Residency Fellowship for my manuscript Girl Outlaw. This recognition celebrated my work as a South Australian writer and highlighted my commitment to storytelling.

The Deep Creek Residency Fellowship is a highly regarded program supported by Matilda Bookshop, Writers SA, and Ultimo Press. It allows emerging and established writers to focus on their craft in the serene, inspiring environment of the Deep Creek National Park. This residency offers writers uninterrupted time to develop their projects while connecting with nature and gaining the support of a vibrant literary community.

Being shortlisted for this fellowship was an invaluable experience that validated the depth and potential of Girl Outlaw. It is a testament to my dedication to creating stories that resonate and inspire.
