I'm Kate Gore, a professional editor and proofreader with over a decade of experience in this field.
I have studied under renown former editor of The Wall Street Journal, Shani Raja, and accumulated a wealth of knowledge across a variety of roles over the last ten years. I possess extensive freelance experience as an online content writer, social media manager, website creator, restaurant reviewer, entertainment journalist and features editor. My passion for the structure and flow of the written word has led me to launch my own editing and proofreading business - Wordy Solutions.
Editing and proofreading is not just a required service for authors; it’s essential for all forms of written communication. These skills are pivotal in landing lucrative contracts, securing publishing deals or simply increasing your list of subscribers. Errors and inconsistencies can, and will, affect the credibility of your professional reputation. I will fully optimise the fluency of your written project by identifying all spelling and grammatical errors as well as improving the overall structure of your work. I also ensure your writing style and tone are relevant to your target audience.
Rest assured, I have a keen eye for detail and meeting deadlines is of no issue, as I tend to excel under pressure.
I look forward to working with you.
