Just say you're running the marketing & comms team in a major community services organization, but are just too stretched to create all the content you need.

That was one of my clients in mid 2017. Since then, I've been their 'go to' writer for overflow media releases, social media & annual report content. Another client, a digtech startup based in the Netherlands, regularly needs a quick editing turnaround on his European Commission grant applications. I'm able to finish the task before his next business day begins. Meanwhile, in Australia, a national education publication has been taking up my story pitches regularly since 2012. As well, a global software company in the early sector takes my weekly articles for their B2B website.

That's a mix of journalism, copywriting, content marketing writing and website writing.

I write compelling copy about education and business for online/print publications to connect businesses/organisations with their customers. My words have been published in Forbes, HuffPost, The Australian, The Age, The Sunday Age, The Australian Financial Review, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Land, regional/suburban Fairfax mastheads, the Australian Educator, wyza.com.au, and more. I'm an award-winning former Fairfax writer and a top-ranked Upwork writer.

I'm experienced in creating well-researched articles and content quickly and accurately (helps that I type 100 wpm, too!). My soft skills include active listening, being able to empathize with my clients, being clear and open to discussion about how I plan to use information that's been offered to me in an interview. It's important for me to get the 'voice' of my client spot on in my writing, so I understand revisions are needed.
