Tales of Cloth is a small online business helping people to make unique and beautiful hand-pieced quilts. I was asked to help establish the visual identity of the brand which would be used across the online store as well as the packaging.

My favourite parts were learning about quilting, thinking about colour and pattern design and getting to draw some pretty cute little illustrations.

I was asked to make a logo for a local knife sharpening business. I was given creative liberty so decided to try emulate a rustic linocut kind of look.

A cloud based hosting business asked me to design some eye catching banners for their site that complemented the existing brand while being a bit new and fun.

Walking Away was a piece of transformance art based on the short story “The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas” written by Ursula K. Le Guin. I was asked to create some eye catching artwork for both print and digital promotion that captured some of the ideas in the story and which fit with the aesthetic the art production was aiming for.

I was given a lot of creative liberty with this project, so I used it as an opportunity to experiment with an illustration/rendering style I hadn’t used before. It was pretty darn satisfying and I’m happy with the result.

This concept was entered into a competition looking for a bold, serious Logo Design for a cyber company in United States. Colours were requested and client asked for a symbol or some kind of play on words.

I was unsuccessful in the competition but proud of the logo anyway!
