Developed Blupay, the financial industry’s leading commercial transaction platform. Created java based backend portal for Blupay. Performed extensive performance optimisations and JMX monitoring infrastructure improvements to establish performance metrics and identify bottlenecks in FIX message processing. Coordinated / implemented infrastructure and UI for runtime configuration of Blupay engines, and established roadmap for future work . Undertook research / development for maximizing latency determinism.

Established new architecture and coding standards for all Blupay monitoring systems.

May 2016 - September 2018 Implemented phased delivery of multi-million dollar project to replace existing third party commercial Content Management and Delivery Systems (Future Tense CMS) with custom built J2EE / SQL Server 2005 based solution. Reduced time to publication from 20+ minutes to a manner of seconds. Integrated new and legacy systems during the interim period. This CMS is now used by the majority of Fairfax Digital for further product opportunities.

Conducted extensive load testing prior to delivery to ensure that the system would achieve acceptable response times under projected loads (> 200,000 hits / day)). Implemented performance optimisations derived from the performance tests to achieve levels mandated by traffic levels.
