I pride myself on taking copy written by technical experts and making it more accessible to a lay audience. I also have experience working with writers for whom English is a second language, helping them to express their ideas more concisely and with greater clarity.

I have extensive experience in corporate writing and editing and specialise in helping others to refine their words to achieve maximum impact. I have a Graduate Diploma of Journalism and a Bachelor of Business (Organisational Studies), both from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia, and have worked in non-profit, government, engineering and manufacturing environments. My corporate experience includes writing and editing human resources manuals and quality assurance procedures for large entities. I also have experience in evaluating and critiquing fiction manuscripts.

Much of my recent work of has been in the beauty and wellness industries: copywriting, copyediting and proofreading marketing material, including digital magazines, electronic newsletters, promotional campaigns, Facebook content, website copy and printed marketing collateral.
