Hi NatStar,

I'm an international business adviser with business and law degrees. I've helped clients set up businesses around the world, including through ASIC.

I'm not practicing however in Australia a lawyer is not required to register a company, and luckily in Australia the company structure options are quite straightforward - when it comes to choosing a structure, information on the requirements, and providing standard shareholder's agreements (that have been reviewed by practicing lawyers), I can provide all this without needing a lawyer (would be happy to send you an example of my work if you need). You can still opt to get a lawyer to final review and 'sign-off', for added security (if desired, I can connect you with lawyers I know). Overall, this should be much more cost-effective than paying commercial law fees for the entire process. So, it probably depends on your budget, but happy to chat further anytime.

My rate would depend on how much guidance you would need. In theory I could provide all the information you need in 1 hour, but as a maximum I've set the quote at 5 hours for now.
