We support a number of applications for a range of clients, all in the .NET 4 (with Entity Framework) space.

I need someone to help out on projects on a casual, per hour basis. You must be fluent in .NET (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Entity Framework), SQL Server 2008.

You must be able to pick up concepts and ideas easily and be able to make changes to software based on very fluid specifications easily.

Any Joomla/Wordpress skills would be handy but .NET is more important.

Note - this is not a full time role, you'll have work to do but it may not be constant.

Please supply your requested hourly rate and a few examples of software that you have previously built.

Thanks Mark

I have been working with .NET (both VB.NET & C#) for most of the projects I had been involved in. Last 2 projects involved .NET 4 and SQL Server 2008. As I have been working mostly as a consultant/contractor, the ability to pick up concepts quickly and making changes based on specifications is an attribute I regard most valuable. I am currently finishing a Joomla project as a freelancer. You can view the site at cornerstone-hr.net.

Please give me some task specifications

Mark D.

you'll be making changes to software based on specificaitons, answering support questions, dealing with errors that might come up and so on. The right person will be pretty autonomous but willing to ask for help when they're stuck.

May I know where are you based? Which source control do you use? Thank you.

Mark D.

On the Gold Coast, and we use a cloud based SVN repository.

Good to know, thanks. I am free to meet up and go over specifications/role if interested. Also, is 'answering support questions' mainly via email or phone?

Mark D.

Mainly via email.
