Cindy Mayes is an experienced communication professional and has been working as a freelance writer and editor for the last seven years. Prior to this, Cindy held senior communications roles in the Queensland Government and private sector, and managed a small public relations consultancy. Cindy has experience in overseeing publications, advertising, events, displays, media campaigns and websites. She has worked in a range of industries including higher education, tourism, transport, health, small business and consumer affairs. Cindy has a Bachelor of Business (Communication) majoring in Public Relations, graduating with distinction from QUT.
