Currently I work as a linear editor at Foxtel and freelance as a non-linear editor. Recently I did the promo pathway course here at Foxtel. As a result of that I have had the opportunity to work fulltime with the promo department since November.
Last year I did the Avid 101 course at AFTRS, which has further expanded my post production skills. I'm also familiar with a variety of editing programs and other areas in pre-production, production and post production.
I have worked on various projects as producer, director, 1st AD, D.A, unit manager, production assistant and camera to name a few. This has made me well rounded, which is good quality to have, I think, when working on a diverse range of projects.
Working at Foxtel has exposed me to a lot of opportunities to learn other skills outside of my job role. As a compile editor I have worked a lot with cross channel promos, feeds, interstitials and special events (such as the royal wedding) to mention a few.
