Sr Test Analyst

Manual Testing,Agile,QC,Regression,

Test Analyst having Functional , Regression ,Integration , SIT and Agile testing Experience. • Thorough understanding of SDLC,STLC and QA processes. • Experience with testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, V-model). • Strong experience with tools like HP QC and IBM RTC for planning, reporting, test execution and defect life cycle management. • Prepare Testing Documentation (test plan, strategies, test data, scripts, requirement traceability & summary report). • Ability to translate business requirements, functional specifications and use cases into test scripts and scenarios. • Experience in Defect management system this includes (Defect logging, defect retesting, preparing defect logs). • Work closely with the development team for requirements, issues, defects fixes or clarification needed during testing cycle. • Experienced in providing Estimation of new project. • Experience in running automated test scripts in QTP • Experience in testing applications coded in JAVA,.NET ,XML files • Knowledge of databases and can effectively write SQL queries for database verification testing. • Effective and prompt status reporting to the Project Manager and stakeholders. • Excellent in solving problems quickly and maintaining on time delivery. • Posses ability to clearly document and communicate test results, findings and recommendations. • Team Player, motivated Self starter, proactive ,quick learner and can work independently within a team. • Experience in mentoring and reviewing work of the fellow junior associates. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with key stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
