Yvonne Popplewell

blogging,writing,copywritng,

For the past 5 years I have been working as a script assessor and admin assistant for Rockette Enterprises while I completed my studies (Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in English, Media and Cultural Studies). Since completing my studies at the end of 2012 I have been writing for various websites, including The Backlot (formally AfterElton) and The Geekiary, while continuing my work for Rockette Enterprises.

Before embarking on my studies I worked as an admin/marketing assistant for Amber Technology a role, which introduced me to many aspects of online marketing. Through my years of study I learnt to work to a deadline and as much of my research has involved practical involvement with online media I am well versed in most aspects of social networking.

My work with websites such as SpoilerTV.com, NovastreamTV.com, TheGeekiary.com and TheBacklot.com also helped increase my knowledge of online marketing as well as improving my ability to create online content. I have experience with Wordpress, Adobe Creative Suite and most Social Networking platforms. Previously I sourced content for the popular site SpoilerTV and during an exchange program in the UK I was an entertainment reporter for UEA’s Official Student Paper, Concrete.
