Hi, My name is Alex, Engineer in production management, I have been working with excel for 2 years. I used to developed tools with excel and visual basic for a multinational company in microelectronics based in France. Some examples: -Algorithm to calculate automatically the outputs per week of the whole production with different variables: number of product started, product currently in the line, time cycles, yield, calendar (public holidays, week end). Target: accuracy of the information, gain time, ease of reports. -Spreadsheet with mistake-proofing like locked list from the database and contradiction detection to communicate in between services to launch new projects in production. Target: accuracy information, gain time. -Programs to check the respect of the FIFO in the work in progress with data used straight from the database. Target: production under control, support for continuous improvement and analysis feedback.
