I have been writing fiction since the age of nine with many of my short stories winning awards. Since 2007, I have been successfully self-employed as a Virtual Assistant specialising in writing internet content, and proofreading. In 2011 I was awarded a Certificate in Professional Editing and Proofreading via Cengage Education. More recently I have completed a Writing for the Web course through Open 2 Study. I also hold a Diploma in Business Studies and have over 20 years' experience in secretarial and administrative services, working in a variety of fields including sales, health, finance, education, human resources, market research and local government.
