My name is Jay Daniel Thompson and I specialise in proofreading academic material: theses (PhD, Masters, Honours), postgraduate and undergraduate essays and reports, and academic articles.

I hold a PhD in humanities from the University of Melbourne, and have over a decade’s worth of experience in academic editing, writing and teaching across a range of disciplines. I bring this diverse experience to bear upon my proofreading work.

I am based in Melbourne and provide my services to clients Australia wide. My turnaround times can be as little as 24 hours, depending on the size of your assignment.

My rates of payment are extremely reasonable.

I also work with university, TAFE and high school students on a one-on-one basis to help enhance their reading, writing and research skills.
