Since High School, I have excelled in my English studies and the art of writing. Among many of my subjects during the Higher School Certificate (HSC) was Extension 2 English. This involved a major work of my choice, with a thesis proposal, thesis research, and the composure of a 5,000+ word Ficto-Cirtical. The thesis looked at the effects media reporting had on Middle-Eastern Conflicts with a centred interest on the 2011 Egyptian Uprising. The study was carried out by comparing a wide variety of Western and Eastern media reporting across a wide range of mediums, and by studying a number of philosophers and critics including Umberto Eco, Susan Sontag, and Jean Baudrillard, all of whom were self-taught.
Having completed my HSC successfully, I have since been awarded a B.A. Majoring in Government and International Relations from The University of Sydney (units of study attached in my portfolio) and worked at all levels of Australian Government (Local, State and Federal). ). Having excelled in all Writing units which I studied, I have since been appointed as a Writing Fellow at the Sydney University Writing Hub. My roles have included the writing speeches, business proposal letters, correspondence, letters and newsletters.
Work roles I have filled through the duration of my degree and since completing include:
