Alphabet Sushi is a freelance copy editing and writing business run by Vicky Rae Ellmore, who is willing to tackle anything from copy editing 100 words to writing, editing and taking photographs for lengthy documents.

I am a native English-speaking freelance editor and proofreader who is willing to tackle anything from copyediting 100 words to writing, editing and taking photographs for lengthy documents.

I have a Publishing degree, and have been editing and proofreading for over 10 years.

Following completion of my BIS Publishing degree at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, I began working for Brooke Pattrick Publications as a production/sub-editor. After four years in this position, I was promoted to editor of The Journal of Facilities Management and, a few months later, I was promoted again and awarded editorship of Urban Green File, one of the company's flagship publications. On relocation to Australia, I found employment as the online and print editor of Facility Management magazine.

The skills I developed and enhanced while working in the publishing industry include copyediting, proofreading, production editing, journalism and photography. Working in this industry has also enabled me to perfect the art of completing these tasks both effectively and efficiently to ensure an error-free result is provided within the required timeframe.
