I would be perfect for this job.

I have previously worked for marketing companies focusing on catalogues and magazine layouts so i know what is required of them.

I currently do work for a printing company so making sure the final artwork is print ready will not be something you will have to worry about.

I am always 100% committed to my clients I don't on more than 1 project at a time so that i totally devote all my focus to it getting the best outcome possible.

I am available 24/7 to my clients working to meet whatever deadlines are needed.

I charge $30 p/h, keeping a detailed log. I am happy to do a discounted rate of $25 p/h for the first issue of the magazine i work on if the work is going to be ongoing to build up a good working relationship.

I am Australian however located in Asia this year doing language studies and do all my work remotely. 90% of my clients are Australian because being Australian myself, I prefer to work with people and companies that have the same working culture I am familiar with.

I can do this work for you at a flat rate of $1500.

I designed the identity (logo, colours etc.), website, all graphic, banners and product photos (edited in photoshop) that you see on the site.

If your still still convinced about hiring me for this work, then I'll be willing to do the first months work for you at a fixed rate of $1000 so you can see how we work together, and if all goes well, you can continue to hire me at $1500 a month.

I can start work on you material as of NOW, and managing the pressure of the final week before publishing won't be an issue.

I work Australian hours so am available between 9-5 and even after hours when projects require it.

Hi Bron, I have a Bachelor of Graphic Design. I worked as a designer for a reputable studio for 10 years and have been freelancing for the past two. I can commit 40 hours or more per month to develop your magazine and be on demand all the time especially that week leading up to print. I can layout publications suitable for commercial print using the Adobe Creative Suite. I can also output files for online viewing. Hi Bron,

I am the former Art Director for Birthing Magazine, an independent Canadian parenting publication that has been in print for over fifteen years (48 page layout). For five years I was responsible for all aspects of the magazine’s layout and design from cover to cover, including working closely with the publisher to create a look and feel that reflected the editorial content and promoted the Birthing Magazine brand, designing editorial features, directing photoshoots, and then getting files ready for prepress. I also created PDF versions of the magazine for online viewing on Zinio.com, preprated web graphics and much more. Beyond my experience as Art Director, I have over eight years of experience as a Graphic Designer working on projects like logos, stationary, ads, web banners, and that sort of thing.

My quote is a flat fee based on 40 hours of work per month, including revisions, excluding the costs of stock or commissioned art and photography. However, you didn't mention what your 'advertising versus content' ratio is – and so I have made some assumptions based on my experience.
