We are a Gold Coast company involved in manufacture and sales. We seek the services of a suitably qualified person to assist in the design and development of custom software to assist in the following areas:

• Pricing of custom items; • Quoting • CRM • Simplified sale entry via an interface to our accounting software; • Job Scheduling; • Job Tracking; and • Freight calculation and recording.

It is envisaged that this project will be priced in stages, being:

1. Draft a suitable design;
2. Establish a suitable development path and set quantifiable goals;
3. Develop the software in stages as established in points 1 & 2 above.

The successful person will be:

• able to attend at our Gold Coast office to meet with the users of the proposed system to establish the exact parameters of the project; • available now; • patient enough to talk and walk the us through what we really want and need; • technical enough to actually do the work quickly, competently, and completely; • disciplined enough to manage the task; • professional enough to remain communicative; and • tactful enough to steer us away from the most common 'dumb ideas'

This quote is for point 1. "Draft a suitable design specification" only. Stages 2 & 3 will be quoted separately once the design specification is satisfactorily established (Our preference would be to award the entire project to the 1 supplier if possible).
