I live in a rural area and grew up on mixed cropping farms. I have also worked for businesses serving rural customers and have worked as a feature writer for a rural newspaper. I have a strong understanding of the target audience. Quote is per article and includes writing of article only from home base. Travel to conduct interviews, acquiring of images etc will incur additional fees.

How long are these articles to be?

    • Ahennell Client 13 Jun 2014 at 14:37

Sorry for the delay, 500-750 words but longer if the subject warrants it, plus photos. As we're online only at this stage we're keeping shorter but will take longer articles as we gear up for hard-copy publication. http://countrymag.com.au/

Do you supply leads or do need your contributors to come up with ideas?

    • Ahennell Client 13 Jun 2014 at 14:38

We're looking for stories and ideas from contributors at the moment, but as we get going we'll supply leads to our regulars http://countrymag.com.au/

    Hi there, Ahennell,

I'm interested in submitting a quote for this job, but was hoping you might provide me with a little additional information about the job. What is the publication, (is it a lifestyle or strictly agricultural publication?), and what is the general length and style of articles you are seeking? Do you have a style guide that is available for perusal? Are there ongoing opportunities to submit work for this publication?

Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Lauren.

Sorry for the delay. We're mid-way between ag and lifestyle, anything country themed is on the table for discussion. 500-750 words is where we're sitting now, plus photos, but as we gear up for hard copy we'll be looking for longer features also. Style guide is being worked on. Hopefully we'll form an ongoing relationship with several contributors. http://countrymag.com.au/
