Australia's Freelance Marketplace
We are looking at upgrading our website from web 1.0 to web 2.0 standard. Our website is www.partycakeswhitsunday.com
We would like to have created the website template where the content can be added and modified by myself easily through Content Management System (CMS) including adding new pages.
We would need the background image, banner, icons and other items of the template created to web2.0 standard.
The website is very photo intensive and I will be constantly adding new photos to the portfolio gallery for each cake category. Uploading, sorting, naming, categorising and displaying the photos easily and effectively as a photo gallery is a high priority. A photo slide show on the home page and on each cake category page is also required.
For our contact and order/enquiry forms we currently use a third party website and would now like it PHP integrated directly through the website to our email addresses.
Mailchimp signup form similar to our current ‘your mailing list provider’ form.
We are also looking at making sales of a basic line of cakes, selection and payment made through using Paypal ‘Website Payment Standard’. Layout set out would be required. I would add the content and PayPal code information.
Social media integration would also be required with Facebook, Twitter and Google+ as well as the G+ icon button for each page. A Facebook Like button for each page and/or cake photo would also be an advantage.
Google Analytics transferred.
Favicon (which I have pre made) would need to be added.
Meta Tag keywords and sitemap for google would also need to be transferred across (and updated if required).
The type of style and feel we are looking at for our website would similar to www.airliecove.com.au and www.jetskitour.com.au
The description above is for the backend of our website as well as website template images. To keep costs down, the front end, content, photos and simple coding can be done by me through Content Management System (CMS)
Thank you for your time and consideration and look forward to receiving your reply.

Hi,
I'm Kevin from Design The Creative Solutions. We specialise in designing and developing sites that visitors will stay on.
I'm willing to start straight away developing you site. I recently upgraded the website of Macquarie Ice Rink (macquarieicerink.com.au) from web 1.0 to web 2.0 standards, however they only required a basic template. The design of your site would be unique and highly attractive.
Feel free to visit our site at www.designtheweb.com.au and see how we've designed our own site. It's built with the Joomla CMS, which is very easy and powerful. I will include instructions on how to add and edit pages, photos and content. For the sales requirement, I would include VirtueMart within Joomla to provide a powerful e-commerce solutions, linked with paypal.
Turn around would be within 2 weeks and I would keep you informed of progress regularly, including updates of any changes you would like to the design.
Let me know if there is anything else you'd like. Unlike many other freelancers, we are a business that will create your site, so your satisfaction is highly regarded. Many other freelancers just use a preexisting template, however your site would be built from scratch, meaning it is unique.

Hello, did you have any particular CMS in mind?
Typically I do most of my work in WordPress, which I have found to be very flexible, and quite simple for clients to update and maintain.
Within WordPress, there is also provision to have sitemaps automatically updated (both from a sitemap.xml perspective, and a public facing sitemap) as well as areas to use your meta keywords and descriptions.
I look forward to hearing from you
Adrian

Hi Adrian. The CMS I have in mind is Concrete5 but Wordpress is also an option. I just have the concern that most wordpress websites look similar with similar layouts and square layout left over from the Wordpress blog era. Although if you have some examples of excellant looking Wordpress sites I will be open to Wordpress.
