We currently have an iOS app and basic wordpress web platform to be used for a diet tracking service. The app at the moment is a basic minimum viable product and we are looking contract someone to develop additional app features and integrate the app with a web platform.

At the moment the team consists of various members who are handling different aspects of the business so we would like to bring on a contractor to provide their technical skills to develop features, back end integration with a database and a web platform. As well as this they would be using their knowledge of the businesses requirements and their development background to provide advice and support to the project.

Process We have developed an MVP to allow us to test the app at its basic level and now we want to continue to make small adjustments depending on user feedback. So we'd like to have someone available to be able to collaborate with us on the development.

Position Requirements The position is part time and is very flexible, we want to take someone on to form a highly collaborative and dynamic relationship to proceed the project forward in a way that takes into account the need of the business as well as the technical requirements to meet these needs. Hours of work are flexible.

The position would need to be very independant and there would be little or no supervision. The ideal person would be someone has developed apps before end to end and knows how to integrate them with web platform as well as creating the system architecture.

The work needed is quite ad hoc and on a needs basis so it would be perfect for someone who is already an established developer who has done this type of work before and can understand the needs of the business easily and provide technical guidance on how this will work and then be able to easily produce the work needed for development.
