Hi, I am a freelance journalist, writer and editor with over ten years experience. I used to work with national newspapers in India until I moved to Perth a few years ago. My niche areas of work are medical and natural health although I write various kinds of copy. I am currently working on all content (soft and hard copy) for liverfoundation.org.au. I am able to provide testimonials and references from top academics and medical professionals for whom I have provided services. With my background in journalism I would be very interested in creating content for AJDC - for hard copy or online.
To rfleming. Based in Sydney, I am an experienced full time copywriter and editor. Completed with Distinction a Bachelor of Arts at the University of New South Wales, I worked as a Research Office Assistant at the University of Sydney and am familiar with researching and writing for Australian journals. In addition, I worked for 1 year with Express Transcriptions, a Sydney based company where I transcribed medical audios. I have provided my writing service to clients all over the world, particularly in Australia. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with BBC World News and Kidela (Canadian News) as a journalist online. I have also been contracted as a copywriter to work with a range of Australian Non-Profits based in NSW including Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation, Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, The Housing Connection (mental health), Cystic Fibrosis and Parkinson's NSW. I look forward working with you. Kind Regards, Matthew.
To launch a magazine to health professionals and aged care staff, you'll need a journalist who is not only experienced with writing, but also with issues relating to the care of disabled and elderly people. It's impossible to write comprehensively about dementia and full-time caring without having experienced the professional and personal issues that impact carers and dependants on a day-to-day basis. I'm not only a professional writer with experience in writing articles and content for magazines and journals, I was my mother's full-time carer for 12 years - so caring and disability is something I can write about with both passion and experience. I also have experience with Adobe InDesign, which you may be able to employ to optimise the presentation of the journal. I'd love to be involved in the project. Happy to telecommute and travel if required.

I have over five years' experience as a commissioning editor within a publishing organisation and regularly contract as an editor for the journal of a national domestic violence service. Hi there, I'm an experienced medical/health journo and editor based in the Sydney area. I've written for many publications, such as Cosmos magazine and Medical Observer, and have ample experience dealing with scientific and medical professionals. I am happy to provide samples on request. My rate is $60/h, but I am happy to negotiate for longer, ongoing jobs. If you have any questions or queries, please don't hesitate to contact me. Look forward to hearing from you! Kind regards, Nicole Vanderkroef
Hi there, I'm not sure how to attach my CV to this. I hold an MA in Professional Writing from University of Technology Sydney, and am a highly experienced writer and editor, published in a great variety of forms. If you care to aslo look at Elance: https://www.elance.com/s/edit/ceriang/ – I am the number one Australian writer on the site, and ranked 22 out of all 126,000 individual writing providers.
In terms of content, please see, www.pkmenon.com and www.abcovens.com.au for recent content (all work on both sites is mine), I regularly write for publishers and magazines in Australia, including Macmillan Education, and Metro Magazines. I have just completed a substantive edit on a memoir detailing the history of nursing in Australia during the 1940s, and my Grandmother suffered from severe dementia for 20+ years (dying two years ago at the age of 108!), so I am highly familiar with the condition. Additionally, I oversee a small group of subcontractors - each with areas of specialty, and am lucky enough to have two highly experienced medical writers in this group, one of whom is also very experienced with Dementia.
I regularly edit academic papers of a scientific nature. I am in Sydney's Northern Beaches, and do not work more than the equivalent of three days a week, however, I am very flexible in that as I work remotely, I frequently work evenings and weekends.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch - and I will attempt to work out how to attach my CV! Many thanks for your consideration.
