A Macquarie University research team is producing a documentary on the global impact of child maltreatment (and best practice prevention initiatives), and is seeking 2D animators.

We have already assembled a team of experienced professionals to bring this important project to life but are still looking for someone to help us develop two or three short 2D animated sequences of approximately one minute each in duration

The purpose of the animated sequences will be to depict some of the personal stories gathered in interviews, in order to:

  • preserve interviewee anonymity where requested, or
  • facilitate viewer engagement with content that might otherwise be very confronting, or
  • break up the talking heads

Compensation: Initially this project is exclusively for distribution within the academic community. However commercial sale will be sought for the program following academic submission. We are seeking someone who is willing to join our team in this role and work according to their availability on this important student / humanitarian project in return for senior level credits (plus payment if and when commercial proceeds are generated).

If interested please email: inlocoteam@gmail.com

Thank you.
