Project for a Mobile App Developer

I need a FAST developer with good communication Skills to help with a fairly simple APP. This is basically a 'learning’ project and a proof of concept - but we need a good start at it. If it goes well then we may use the developer for future more commercial things.

I need developer to be willing to transfer knowledge and explain the code to my designer (actually my son who has development skills but is not a developer). The objective is for him to really understand what is involved and so he can start thinking about future apps, and know how to better communicate design requirements so we can hopefully work together again with the same developer as this one.

Type of application I need now: Assigning and Managing Tasks

Cross Platform - This needs to be able to be later ported to IOS -- so people with either Android or IOS phone can download and share a D/B. SQL D/B would be hosted (already have the site) on a hosted website. Can use CPANEL to manage D/B backend.

Initial Need is to get something actually working with the right features at least on Android. We are not too concerned initially about it having beautiful graphics -that can be done at a later time.

Basic stuff: Add tasks, assign tasks to people, people can be part of one or many groups, track completion of tasks, notifications, --- you get the idea? we will provide mockup of screens and flow so you can clearly understand the intention and functions needed.

We have an idea for expansion into something more interesting but we want to start here to understand the complete development and deployment process.

I am in Gold Coast and are used to working remotely on projects so it doesn't matter where you are

I have a very small budget of $500 because I need something up and running within 2 weeks -functional but not necessarily pretty.
