Simple data scraper where we enter 2 links of two different websites and product code, name and price is added to a database available for viewing and future scraping. Optional feature showing price difference comparison. .

Looking for a few simple pages to control the data.

First Page - View/Edit/Print/Export/Search - Table View of all Products Second - Submit New Comparison Third - Individual Product Page

While the pages can be simple, div tags would be appreciated to be able to further implement into a more user friendly looking page. Or to implement into a wordpress cms.

  • Store structured output in a database

  • Automatic calculations of similar products based on name or code for comparisons

  • Page to list similar products and price comparison using DIV

Hi mate. The two websites I'm interested in are altronics.com.au and jaycar.com.au. you'll notice that while the products are similar they aren't always the same so manual input to join products will be necessary. I found obtaining product code, title and price this morning was simple enough using scrapy shell but writing a spider with output was beyondy skill level.
