Melbourne area. 4-6 weeks long form doco editor with experience working on subject matter OUTSIDE Australia. Prefer able to work with Premiere CC.

    Hi,

    I'm based in Sydney. Your request says that the edit can be performed remotely? I'm proficient with Premiere and I could start mid Jan.

    I freelance for a lot of different companies and different shows but probably the most relevant for your edit is my regular work with SBS Dateline. All Dateline content is international and often in a foreign language. One of my edits for Dateline recently won a gold trophy at the Cannes corporate media & tv award.

    My website has a few bits of work I've done. I can send through some Dateline links of episode I've cut this year if that helps?

      Im looking for someone to start as of the 18th of Jan and work thru till the middle [if not end of Feb]. Because I dont live in Oz I need to get this edit done in the window I have while Im here, which is about 4 - 6 weeks max. That said I have no intention of hovering over my editors shoulder every day, but I still want to be close by so that I can help access needed footage if the editor requires [the archive is not so easy to navigate].

      I understand that you can work remotely, but seeing that this is the final cut and I want to leave Oz with the cut in hand, I really need someone who I can drop in for 6 weeks straight, so Melbourne it needs to be. Im looking for someone who can create narrative more than flashy cuts.....
