We are looking for a freelance editor to do an offline edit of one of our recent business presentations.

Scope Approx 4-5 hours running time of HDV footage needing very basic editing into FCP timeline, synced with presentation slides and mixed with audio from presenter’s mic.

Three media sources requiring syncing/mixing

1. Main camera (HDV 1080i50 1440x1080)
2. Live screen recordings of slides (H264, 1280x720)
3. Audio from presenter’s lavalier mic

• Screen recordings of slides (H264) will need to be decoded to an uncompressed format before editing.
• Audio levels roughly mixed

• Final delivery - Final Cut Pro project file ready for online edit (compatible with FCP7).

• Source material to be supplied on external drive.

• Audio equalization, title effects etc will be applied during the online edit.

Deadline - flexible based on initial assessment of the work.

Rate - Because this edit requires only basic editing skills we would expect to negotiate an hourly rate or flat fee equivalent to the time and skills involved.

Are you available or interested in such a project?

If you aren't available or your experience/rate are greater than what is required for this job, we would love it if you would recommend someone with suitable skills and equipment for the job.
