Hi all

I'm looking to develop my own warehouse management system that has the following basic structure to begin with and then develop the requirements in more detail.

Looking to market to small businesses and charge a monthly licence fee. If someone has a vanilla base to start with would be great that could handle the below

Inbound Outbound Order fulfilment Inventory Management - SKU master Supplier Management Warehousing & Distribution Reporting Dashboard Barcoding & RF Storage Financials P&L Rate cards FIFO Batch management Labour planning Container planning Integration

Not sure on the costs or which platform to use but open to suggestions

Hi Glen,

I would caution about building a WMS unless your own needs are so specific that you can't use one of the thousands of systems already available.

It is a congested marketplace already, with systems ranging from SME level through to major ERPs.
