It is based in MS SQL and can easily have a public web site added to this. As an Venue Auction web site could be for a variety of uses, e.g. Public information about venues on offer, able to place live bets, make payments and see what is on offer. we offer fixed price and time quotes if you have the details of what you want. As a company we have worked for about 3 different auction places and their needs. Each one is different, some are hours of work, some have been weeks of work. Hourly rates we will not compare to students or at home programmers. Our company is 29 years old, and we only ask for a 10% deposit and partial payment on delivery, with final payment on sign off of a working completed product. As we have done this before, we can use our existing code and possibly save you in time, money and pain. Obviously internally used databases I can not show you, e.g. Adelaide Auctions, parts of McGees, however some of our web work you can review - www.virtualgym.com.au - a new concept, world first, live TV and Live gym workouts, www.if.net.au, www.cytology-asc.com, plus hundreds of others. It seems however based on your response, you are most interested in hiring an individual person. Our experience has shown us that teams work faster, more cost efficient etc that and individual, as with Database webs, there is too much variety and skill for one person to be an expert in all these areas. We normally sign NDA's to review peoples needs for their software,and out of interest we have a 90% success rate on quoted jobs. We only quote what we know we can deliver in a timely cost effective manner. Our option also allows companies to take advantage of investors, R and D grants etc. If you are interested, and want us to sign a NDA - we are happy to do this.
