I'm looking for someone who can write 10 blogs of around 1,200-1,500 words each and who is happy to have their author details displayed alongside the blogs on a website.
The website is about China, covering a broad range of topics such as travel, work, life, culture, tech, etc. The website is launching within the next few months. Content can be helpful, informative, fun, entertaining or even thought-provoking.
To be awarded this job, you must be a native English speaker, a great writer (with previous work to show) and have visited China before. I will need to see your passport China visa stamp(s) before you start the work.
Your photo and first/last name will appear on the website alongside a short bio of your time in China so you need to be comfortable with that. You cannot be a ghostwriter for someone else. You won't be required to respond to any comments made on the blogs or have any responsibility outside writing the content.
I'm flexible when it comes to to what is actually written, and how it's written. I have a list of topics/titles that you can choose from, or you can come up with your own for approval. I'd rather you write something you like writing about.
The style of the blogs could be a list (e.g. 'The top 10 things...'), a how-to, a personal experience, etc - again, I'd prefer you to write what comes naturally to you. Some variety would be ideal.
If you have experience writing with SEO in mind, that's great. But it's not a deal-breaker.
All blog content must be uniquely written for this project and not copied. Other details will be confirmed in a Blogger Agreement which you must sign and return on commencement of the job.
