I require a Raspberry Pi platform to play bird of prey audio clip.

Desired solution to include Raspberry Pi hardware with solar powered battery pack and cabled audio speaker including IP55 housing to include flange or fastener for easy installation.

The developer shall complete the project according to approved inventory and commercially-off-the-shelf hardware for final testing purposes.

A simple text file to configure and select any 1 of 5 regions where bird of prey audio file will play according to default setting i.e. frequency and volume (once every hour during daylight hours for example) or user defined setting i.e. frequency and volume (user can increase frequency and volume of audio file for example).

Bird of prey audio files to be supplied by project promoter and will be according to (1) America, (2) Europe (3) Africa (4) Asia and (5) Australia regions.

The software to include the ability to set the date, time and time zone for daylight saving and some intelligence power saving when not in use.

Hi, Are you fixed on a Raspberry pi as a platform? We would suggest a microcontroller based platform which can host a wifi based web page for easy configuration - using easily obtainable commercial parts to play mp3 files to an amplifier.

The microcontroller would be lighter on power consumption, smaller, cheaper to construct and have lower ongoing maintenance risks.
